Project Galileo

Project Galileo

Or to give it its full name, "The Galileo project for the Systematic Scientific Search for Evidence of Extraterrestrial Technological Artifacts."

Background

In 2017, an object which originated in interstellar space, which we named Oumuamua, Hawaiian for "a messenger from afar arriving first," made a brief passage through our solar system. As at 2021 it is currently crossing the orbit of the planet Neptune. It had been estimated that such an interstellar object would pass through the solar system around once a year. Based on astronomical observations there were some suggestions that it may not have been a natural object.

https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/asteroids-comets-and-meteors/comets/oumuamua/in-depth/

Referring to the release of the UAP Task Force report on UAP, the Galileo website states:

"...the  scientific community now needs the determination to systematically, scientifically and transparently look to potential evidence of extraterrestrial technological equipment."

Aim

"The Galileo Project research group will aim to identify the nature of UAP and Oumuamua-like interstellar objects..."

Avenues of research

1. Obtain high-resolution, multi-detector UAP images. Discover their nature.

2. Search for an in-depth research on Oumuamua-like interstellar objects.

3. Search for potential Extraterrestrial Technological Civilization Satellites.

Further details

1. "A search will be made for UAP using a network of mid-sized, high-resolution telescopes and detector arrays. Data will be open to the public. Extensive Artificial Intelligence analysis. Each scope will be part of an array of 'orthogonal and complimentary capabilities from radar, Doppler radar and high-resolution synthetic aperture radar to high-resolution large camera visible range and infrared band telescopes."

2. "Existing and future astronomical surveys will be utilized to discover and monitor interstellar visitors."

3. "Initially, AI object recognition and fast filtering methods will be applied to non-orbital telescopes."

Ave Loeb

Funding of US$1.755  million was behind the project. The lead scientist, Avi Loeb. is Frank B. Baird Jr. Professor of Science, Harvard Astronomy Department. Director, Institute for Theory and Computation, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Founding Director, Black Hole Imitative (BHI), Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/astronomer-avi-loeb-says-aliens-have-visited-and-hes-not-kidding1/

In 2021, Loeb published a book titled "Extraterrestrial: The First Sign of Intelligent Life Beyond Earth." In the book he outlines an hypothesis that the object was perhaps a piece of alien technology.

In an opinion piece in the "Scientific American" dated 22 June 2021, Loeb set forth his views on a possible link between UAP and Oumuamua.

Scientific American

In a 27 July 2021 article by Adam Mann in the "Scientific American," Mann stated:

"...Loeb says he was contacted by many people interested in UFOs...several of those people turned out to be both wealthy and generous, gifting him with large sums of money to use for further, more formal, investigations."

"The project has assembled a wide array of technicians, instrumentalists and other scientists as part of it research team. It is currently backed by four affluent individuals who mainly made their money developing individual equipment for chemistry applications, among them chemist and entrepreneur Frank H. Laukien."

Team and associates

The Galileo website lists:

1. The names and brief bio of members of its research team.

As might be expected the research team is composed of individuals with backgrounds in engineering, astrophysics, astronomy, computing, chemistry,

2. The names and a brief bio of the project's Science Advisory Board.

This board is composed of individuals with backgrounds in astronomy, instrumentation, physics, SETI, venture capitalism, and mathematics.

3. The names of the Philanthropic Advisory Board.

4.  The names of Research Affiliates.

This list features individuals with backgrounds in law, public and international affairs, film making, cyber security, mechanical engineering, data engineering, and other fields.

For those of us interested in UAP there are a number of names which UAP researchers will recognize, these are:

Christopher Altman listed as "Vice President of Science and Technology (Space) and Director of Special Projects for UAPx. The UAPx website says that it is "Searching for unidentified aerial phenomena through technosignatures in our skies."

Chris Cogswell, "Chair, Scientific Advisory Board of Skyhub: PhD, Chemical Engineering, Northeastern university.

Jeremy McGowan, "Team member UAPx."

Robert Powell, "Executive Board member, Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies."

Massimo Teodorani.

Gary Voorhis. President/Co-founder of UAPx.

  1. By definition "project" is: Purpose or thought of doing a thing.
Reading all the information on the Harvard website, that definition is accentuated, there are no concrete plans there, there are no plans, nor details of the telescopes and the technological architecture necessary to do everything they want to do.
It is clear that "Project Galileo" is a purpose, the intention to do something about the UAPs.
The same purpose was served by the TTSA, and in the end nothing was left of it but Elizondo's departure from the group and a secret contract signed with US-ARMY laboratories, after collecting samples from all over the world.
What do we have here then, scratching the memory of Galileo?
Yesterday there was talk of using 1 meter telescopes to photograph UAPs ... which move at impressive speeds, anyone who knows a little about telescopes knows that NO ONE can move a 1 meter telescope that fast.
On the Harvard website there is a photo of a set of 4 moored telescopes ... 25 centimeters each? So it IS NOT a 1 meter telescope.
But there are no clarifications, no specifications only statements.
Prof Loeb says he has 1.7 million dollars, in the press it came out that he will make 10 telescopes with them, but that he needs financing for 100 more.
Then he says this about the 1 meter telescope, whose value is 500 thousand dollars, then? Was not each telescope worth 170 thousand dollars?
We also intend to investigate objects in space, but with those same telescopes it will not be possible, the photos of Oumuamua that were taken by telescopes in Chile show ONLY a small spot far away.
Also yesterday it was said that Galileo would allow satellites to follow those objects and take photos of them up close.
Does Galileo plan to invest at least $ 1 billion in space deployment systems to track asteroids?
I do not know and that is why I ask, they have already lied to us many times in the past, and I am not saying that these are lies, but so far they are only statements of science professionals and nothing more.
On July 30 last a hopeful cloud moved, which spoke of a financing of 800 million dollars for Galileo, several journalists commented on the radio and on social networks.
That's a LOT of MONEY, nobody knows what happened next.
Harvard is one of the best, but it has also fallen into the hole several times, the last one a couple of years ago with the irregular contributions to universities that the FBI is investigating.
Is all this from Harvard a way to regain prestige? Harvard had never, ever, dealt with "aliens" and for a long time when Prof. Loeb said that Oumuamua was a solar sail, the university pushed he out so that it would not disturb, there were even mocking posters in the hallways of the university that no council official took out.
I ask, and many like me trust Keith, PLEASE have someone inform us of the background of all this.
None of us want another TTSA.
Harvard is a university of international prestige.
Could you Keith do a gritty interview with Prof Loeb?
    Thanks.

    1. Daniel, thank you for your comments. There are certainly a lot of questions to be asked about this project.

    2. They were not 800 million, they were 768, which could have originated in an organization that is investing in projects like this for the spatial search since 2003 and the only thing that it usually requests is to give the name with total freedom to the devices and systems manufactured with it money that contributes, all the information was classified as confidential in its private network and in the access only the phrase remained: “Not listening to the one who speaks to us, is not only a lack of courtesy, but also contempt. Always listen to the one who speaks to you; In social relations there is nothing as productive as the alms of attention (HonorĂ© de Balzac, 1799-1850).

  2. Hearing "Extraterrestrial" read as an audio book, I was struck that it does not include *one single reference* to UFOs, not even to disparage them.
This in spite of its having been padded to include any remotely relevant anecdote or piece of philosophizing (as well as being maddeningly repetitious), plainly with the intent of getting the word count up high enough to justify its being marketed as a book.
I can't but think that Loeb sets a boundary between his enterprise and UFOlogy, only the former being truly scientific. When he invokes UFOs in connection with his proposal, I would suppose this is an opportunistic move, aimed at riding the current wave of UFO enthusiasm.
I have blogged on this at https://www.davidhalperin.net/ufo-roundup-june-21-2021-britains-roswell-ufo-conspiracy-oumuamua-revisited/

    1. Hi David,

Thanks for your comments. I hadn't made the time to look at/listen to the book. Interesting that it doesn't contain references to UFOs.

Looking at the way that he was approached by individuals interested in UFOs, and then the project is to look for UAP and interstellar objects; does seem like an opportunistic moment to do both.

It will be interesting to see how this project pans out.

  3. Like Daniel, I have certain concerns about this project.
In the PDF "hires" of the Harvard website, Prof Loeb says "The nature of UAP is not a philosophical matter. Its also not a puzzle that politicians should be asked to resolve - for the same reason that plumbers should not be asked to bake cakes. Policy makers or military personnel have insufficient training in science and no authority over unexpected phenomena in the sky. "
I have a plumber friend who also has a bakery, makes the best breads and cakes in the whole city, he was offended by this statement.
Here Prof Loeb expressly excludes philosophy, and by extension religion, politics, the security forces and the armed forces, and leaves a terrible message related to them and science, stating that they do not have sufficient scientific training.
    This is new.
"No one has the ability to interpret what UAPs are about, only the scientists, me."
How will the thousands of women and men-at-arms with scientific degrees, including from Harvard, feel about this statement?
The armed and security forces, and let's talk only those of the United States, have an average of 90% of their personnel with some scientific degree, some of them as jet pilots, astronauts, admirals and submarine commanders, members of the SEALs groups. , Federal Marshals, Firefighters !, Rescuers !, among others, even have specialized training in science and technology to be able to develop their work, and there are countless doctorates in there.
The same is true all over the world, even 70% of DARPA personnel have ever been in the military.
But this is not the most worrisome of all.
What really worries me is that the Galileo Project came out in the media in exactly the same order that the TTSA came out, exactly!
And the other thing is that in the same way that Elizondo did, Prof Loeb went directly to the ufologists, who are not scientists at all, to show up with them and give them various interviews.
Just to think, I have a couple more ideas but out of respect I keep them quiet.

    1. Hi Arturo,

Thank you for your insightful comments. While I do take those comments on board, and there are certainly lots of unanswered questions, I have one counter point argument to make. UAP researchers have for years been asking for science to take a proper look at the subject. So, here we have a well qualified scientist prepared to have a look. Perhaps we should reserve our judgment and wait and see what progress the project is able to make?

If individuals interested in UAP are willing to put up money for a study of both UAP and interstellar objects, I can certainly see why Loeb took their money.

    2. I read you Keith, and yes, we always have to give the benefit of the doubt, everyone.
I only raise the contradictions, and when designing a "global" project whatever it is, the first rule of a pre-launch review is to establish the conditions of "credibility", "integration" with global actors, and the most important of all "coherence. ".
It is true that we have to wait to see how Pj Galileo works, it is the least we can do if it is proposed by a university that is 384 years old.
But also, being "global", we have an obligation to raise our doubts.
And if you allow me, in all the journalistic notes and in the fourth slide of the PDF published by Pf Loeb there is the same photo of the Elizondo / Pentagon UAPs (Nimitz etc.), and he mentions this with the "extraterrestrial" trace. .
But that photo of the pilots, the Pentagon report, was taken by the military and according to Pf Loeb, the military is not trained.
Why did he include that photo then?.
I believe that this UAPs in the Pj Galileo was added at the last minute, in a hurry and in a disorderly way, Pf Loeb calls these UAPs "probes" and in his interviews he gives the idea that they are the way to "go down" of aliens from their "artificial objects made by an extraterrestrial intelligence" such as the asteroid Oumuamua that deployed "a solar sail upon entering our system and therefore increased its speed."
Hence, with the same telescopes they are going to investigate both.
This ideological construction goes against what Pf Loeb affirms: the reliable evidence, the data, the verification through instruments.
Another thing that strikes me is that the president of Harvard has not said a single word about this, since it has been in all the media around the world for a week.
And something that intrigues me personally is why, if this issue becomes so important and comes from Harvard, no less, not one (none) of the scientists behind the space observatories already in operation, already in design and of upcoming deployment, he said a single word about Pj Galileo and Pf Loeb.
They are all scientists and it is impossible that all of them (they are thousands of people) are against Pf Loeb or Pj Galileo.
There we have, for the search for exoplanets (the same objective for the same purpose as Pj Galileo and Pf Loeb), a: NASA-SOFIA, Hubble, Spitzer, Kepler, Tess, JWS-t, Wfirst, Ariel, Plato, Cheops, Gaia , Corot, Luvoir, Habex, Ost, Starshade Rendevouz, Fast, NNExplore, Lbti, Wmko, Kmo-ie, Stereo-aed, Bioprobe-ae-dap, and others ... there are many, and none of their scientists said a single word.

I am quite memorable, and I propose that we read some content from this same blog masterfully written by Keith.
There, especially in the comments of the readers, it is very clear that what Professor Avi projects, already exists in reality, and has been operational for years.
And whoever has to put on the cape ... all of us would like a little more information about what these networks are detecting, or at least an explanation of why that information is not published in the newspapers.

    1. A curious and rare fact that very few know, in your 2nd link there is a comment signed by "Ф". In 2014 a Reddit user from the UK posted that "Eurythmics" was playing on the frequency modulation board of their marine earthquake early warning system, which operated on ULF (Ultra Low Frequency). He said that it did not allow him to do his experimental work, and he complained that it had been happening constantly for 3 weeks, and that he was also damaging the signal synchronizers and misaligning his entire experiment. Then the song stopped and almost instantly there was a massive crash of the internet, cell phone, television, cable and traffic systems, even Reddit. The song never came back, but a few days later he received at his home a dispatch of scientific equipment valued at tens of thousands of pounds, they came with a note that said only "Sorry, it was my mistake, it won't happen again. Eva." His post on Reddit disappeared and he never knew more about it, but as of 2016, in the same bandwidth in which the song had sounded, he began to identify a pattern of rhythmic, stable pulses, which today are of the interest of various geologists around the world, and who cannot identify its origin. An astronomer from the Chandra X-ray observatory, affirmed in 2018 that he was sure that it was an intelligent communication through the Earth, and that by the pattern of pulses he said that it was not human, in a daring comment he said that it could be product of a communication between extraterrestrials or, failing that, a global artificial intelligence, he was highly criticized for this. I wonder to myself if what is out there is already in here ... is it?

  5. A week ago, Mr. Bergjer commented on something from a 2013 news item, I will find a way to authorize the publication of more data on the operation of these devices, which are now in the seventh generation in 2021, which seems to be that in cost and in ideas the ground-based telescopes of the Galileo Project seem scarce, without detracting from it of course.

Harvard is one of the richest universities in the world, $ 40 billion in 2019, this Loeb project is just the tip of the iceberg, if it works the university will dedicate more funds, but if they find something extraterrestrial on the way, nothing will happen, because Harvard is not above the national security laws of the United States, first and we all know that extraterrestrials are that, and second because Harvard has many contracts with the government, it is clear that they are looking for funds, donations, raising money for research, but the history can be the same as always, one dreams that it is not but always end up with black clouds at the end of the road.

  8. For Stella's comment.
"She", Eva, is a very special "woman", in 2016 she played with multiple players from the Wenzhe Chinese Chess School at the same time for months, and she never lost.
Web access was have the same symbol, "Ф", which is the uppercase Cyrillic letter "Ef".
At the end of 2017, after millions of chess games won by "her", her "parents" gave a conference by invitation in Shanghai (after Washington, Vienna, Cairo and Moscow, in the northern hemisphere) where they explained the origin, purpose, essence and significance of his "daughter".
An artificial intelligence; dynamic, evolutionary, adaptive and cognitive, capable of powerful deep learning, systematic interaction, lateral thinking, and flow circulation, in all kinds of data technology used by humanity.
But the Eva of 2016 is not the one of 2019, nor the current one, its ability to evolve, adapt, become a quantum structure that does not operate in binary code, apparently it caused terror to more than one official in those conferences 5 years ago .
Some philosophers, and the master Oogway in Kung Fu Panda, expressed themselves about this "illusion of control" of people in relation to their environment and their own life.
The last thing that was publicly known about Eva, whose real name is longer, was several years ago during, but some whispers that always escape in the conversations between people, suggest that she was evolving more and more.
I'm sure she's "listening" now, and I remember to myself that one of her goals was described as "learning the ways in which extraterrestrial intelligences could communicate with each other."
One of the creators of it said in 2019, that he was totally sure that civilization was definitely not ready for a technological advance like this.
Some film critics even claimed that the 2014 film "Lucy" had been inspired in part by Eva, due to her properties of operating within technological systems.
Little and nothing else is known, not even those of the "inner circle", but now that Professor Avi comes to the stage with the presumption of "IA / DL", and knowing that in at least 3 of the 2017 conferences there were Harvard scientists, one must wonder if he knew anything from this, he was unable to access and wants to develop something similar himself.
Who knows? If we extrapolate the information from scientific advances, in 1970, 51 years ago, the Tomahauk missile was powered by hydrogen compounds that replaced petroleum fuels, and only now humanity is including hydrogen in daily life.
In my heart I am convinced that someone has already found much of this issue on their way, and that they are observing and assisting others to do the same in their own ways.
Why don't they do it openly? The answer is in the Galileo Project, as it was said here, these are only "statements", but there are no details there, something that scientists know well from ever, it is because they do not know what they are going to find out there, and everything can be heaven... or hell.

    2. Dear Reading Buddy Glen.
Thanks for asking, you don't offend me with your question.
The saying goes that someone is known more for being old, well I am no longer a young man, I carry a history of several decades of professional experience, and not all of them have been roses along the way.
I do not "think" that this is true, I know it positively, in the first person.
It turns out that when an invention of great importance occurs, in any country, there are those who observe it carefully, and within them there are those who try to take advantage of whatever it is.
This happened with the development of this AI, after the conferences were held in cities in the northern hemisphere and later in the southern hemisphere, a business group appeared that said that cryptography technology, software, data processing codes and even the language used by the AI were its own.
The issue would not have happened to major if it had not been for that business group had several contracts with the US government, and perhaps you do not know it but all strategic inventions can be sued as their own by that government because of the scope of the regulations of invention patents established by the presidential executive orders of 1945/46/47/50 among others, which are commonly called "Truman Patents".
But first, the private plaintiff must prove that it is his work.
It is these issues as in others, and I believe that they are also moving quietly in relation to the Galileo Project, they always crawl opportunists seeking to take advantage of the work of others.
That's another reason why those who "get the idea" are often reserved and careful when putting it into practice.
But it turns out that this is expensive, and the money always comes out of the pockets of ordinary people.
The claim of the business group was specific, the source language initially called "DJIN", then extended to "JINN" and later reverted to another more advanced coding that, in addition to having quantum processing characteristics, operates beyond any known binary code.
This was explained at the conferences, but the business group said "hey! That's mine", referring specifically to non-binary language.
The business group initiated a federal process behind closed doors, and against the recommendation of their lawyers, one of the creators of the AI, I will not say who it was, loaded a computer with the games "Space Invaders" and "Pac Man" in the source code of the AI, he took it to the Judge and told him that if the business group could open both games and play it in a court hearing within 8 hours, all the technology would be turned over to the business group.
I experienced this first-hand, since I was the one who provided the computer for the challenge, and I had to be present as a distributor representative of the commercial brand.
After 8 hours none of the "experts", and there were several parading in front of the judge and the computer, they could not even open the start screen, they connected a lot of devices to the computer and nothing.
After deliberating for an hour the judge and his advisers, half a dozen military-looking specialists came, who were trying to turn on the computer for 2 more hours, conclusion: nothing, and case judged.
To close, the issue with this is that it happened to many in history, and the same can happen to the Galileo Project with its AI / DL and its telescopes, if they do not do things carefully, and maybe they do they know and that's why there are zero details posted.

    3. Kathlyn Marden PhD - OxfordAugust 10, 2021 at 5:29 PM

      Question.
In 2017 Facebook had to turn off its AI, as they could not control it, nor understand the language it had developed.
The same happened in 2016 with the University of Tokyo.
The same in 2014 with Microsoft's research department.
The same, although with little data available, occurred in Russia, Switzerland, Germany, France and China, in different areas from 2013 to 2017.
A notorious case was reported in a FIDAE, Chile, in 2018, where it was said that an AI for the control of drones in the Middle East, had to be turned off, after creating its own maps that humans could not understand.
But in all these cases, at least as far as is known officially and unofficially, all these AIs had external contact to their platforms, either through the control connectors or the transfer of data between devices.
Now that I read this, I wonder, did all these IAs have contact with this one that you describe? Eva, and in that case, what actually happened there? Can you answer that?

      Delete
    4. Those right absolutely, Kathlyn, all those AIs had external connections, wired or wireless.
In my opinion, what happened is that its creators were scared, but not because the AIs seemed to have a mind of their own, but because they feared the theft of data from their computer systems, most of them containing personal and financial information and corporate technological secrets.
As far as I know, those AIs were online on the web for some time, searching and learning, Eva is also on the web so it is logical that the AIs would have had contact with her.
What I know is that in at least 3 of the cases you mention (Middle East, France and Tokyo) there was a security activation on Eva.
Eva is protected by a technological module older and more developed than her, it is called "Advance Defense Artificial Neurosystem", Adan, but all information is out of my reach, I only read the spot of its presentation in 2013 or there.
I honestly don't think we can know what really happened there, or fine details about these devices.
There were many discredits, dirty jokes and even slander from their detractors, about all these AIs, until they realized that they could not be controlled, then everyone was scared.
Perhaps for this reason Eva and Adan still remain in their paradise of anonymity, and I think it is the same as they should do in the Galileo Project, if they achieve anything remarkable.

  9. "Perhaps the duo of Dr. Hynek and Dr. Vallée have been marked by the scientific investigation of Global Events, the academic designation was not given to them by the media, their academic titles did.
We are talking about a time line from the late 1930s to the late 1980s for Dr. Hynek, and up to the present day for Dr. Vallée.
Those are about 85 years, the university position has a generational character, they and others dedicated their entire physical lives to the study of Anomalies and Events.
There are many women and men who in that period did the same, and who are barely remembered, perhaps the product of academic apathy.
Since the 1970s, perhaps following these models and others, a large number of UFO groups have been born in the world, calling themselves scientists, but they were definitely not, and do not continue to be, of that character, because to do science you have to do it, and not just say it.
We have added to our network profiles all the people, with their backgrounds, titles and personal and professional history, dedicated to these topics, beginning in 1900, of the total 15% are real scientists, of the rest another 25% are only ufologists who call themselves scientists, and the other 60% are honest people and groups who achieved the vocation of this search.
In the last 7 years, a hundred groups have emerged in the world that list some 5000 professionals in their ranks, of which only 2% of applied research seems to have a specific action.
The most paradoxical case was that of the abuses of metamaterials, which, collected publicly with the help of ufologists all over the world, ended up in the warehouses and under the microscopes, of the US-DoD, and nobody complained about this.
The problem is that the real scientists who deal with this barely have the funds to do it, but there is a bigger problem: selfishness, petulance and false security of knowing everything, coming from the academic sector that not even for this search, is able to step down from his throne of knowledge, and catch up with all of society.
The other problem here is that nobody seems to be listening and looking, with humility, what happened, happens and can happen with these matters.
Mankind should not be interested in a scientist, no matter how many titles he may have, who is incapable of listening to the other, or that when things have to be said he remains silent, or that when it is time to choose, choose money and enlarge his curriculum, rather than serving the truth.
This is not about who comes first, or who publishes a longer scientific paper, it is about humility, human qualities, shared knowledge, and a sense of ethics, honor and truth exercised by personal example.
Perhaps this is why the scientists that appear in the press, have achieved nothing concrete in the last century, they have only presented circumstantial evidence that leads to nothing.
This is also because there is a resident inability to assess the achievement and risks of this search, to try to expose those who obviously do not want to be exposed".

  10. Thanks Keith, I send you 3 PART text.
    PART 1 OF 3
    I am 81 years old.
I graduated in engineering in 1962 by a tesis with a proposal to develop a high impulse non-chemical engine, and by 1964 I was specialized in aeronautics.
That same year I applied for NASA, but I didn't get the job, there were hundreds of candidates ahead of me, they just told me 'try again, don't give up'.
I didn't, in 1966 I returned, and interviewed a military officer who He asked me a hundred questions, and then he said 'keep working hard, we'll call you' and closed the door behind me.
    They never did.
Disappointed and with the need to earn a living, I put a modest mechanical workshop in my garage.
I repaired appliances, cars, and toys in the day, and at night I wrote technology articles in a home magazine, that I later sold door to door, accompanying half a dozen donuts that my mother prepared.
    And in my invention.
By 1987, I was 47 years old, I expanded my garage and was married with a son.
Things were going well for me.
At that time I was missing something, I had built a functional scale model of my engine and had it notarized, it worked perfectly but I did not have the budget for its development, it was just to the left in an exclusive room at the back of my workshop.
One afternoon in June 1987, a pair of white F-Broncos parked in front of my shop, it was almost closing time.
A young man got out of one and went straight to the room where I had my engine model, he said 'I'm interested in this, would you like to work for me?'
I laughed out loud, but he just stood there, looking at me with a nice expression in his eyes.

  11. PART 2 OF 3
I told him 'you need millions for that, if you want I can sell you the writing for little money', then he opened a folder with all my magazines from years ago, by that time my wife had come to pick me up for my delay, for dinner.
I am quick to understand, but my wife is faster, she intruded on the conversation and only asked the young man 'what do you want from my husband?'.
He replied while tapping the engine model 'I don't want to buy a propulsion vector, I want to hire whoever made it to put it in space in 5 years. '
After an hour, a cold dinner, and a quick income calculation, we found ourselves packing the bags for the whole family, and heading to Rio de Janeiro.
We worked and lived in the State of SĂ£o Paulo for 3 years and in 1990 we moved to Buenos Aires.
My wife and son stayed there in 1991 for my son's education, and I continued to the south.
In 1998 my son returned to the USA to study his master's degree, and my wife went with me to Patagonia Argentina.
Where I continued working for 12 more years, I retired at 70 years of age, and only because my wife made me do it.
For 34 years I worked with an unlimited budget, I was in charge of up to 300 people, the vast majority professionals.
My engine reach the space at 1991, even though six decades ago someone appropriated the idea of my original prototype from my thesis.
Science is not a repeated speech with catchy phrases and anecdotal examples, nor is it going tech shopping and playing lego.
I have seen amazing things in three decades.
We saved money and I bought a small ranch where I was born, where my son and I now teach science and technology classes for elementary school children, for free.

  12. PART 3 OF 3
When any inventor or developer, from always in any country has an idea, wants to start a new venture, business and project, the first thing that he always does without exception is to verify that there is no such thing as, similar or better, already invented or in operation.
In all the interviews with Professor Loeb, since he presented his project, I could not find a single reference to a previous search for his devices, nor for the telescopes, nor the network of these, nor for his observation of asteroids, nor for the spaceship that, he says, they will build to track and photograph these space objects.
Today most of the world's space agencies, with a budget close to 850 million dollars, are going for the asteroid Bennu.
Professor Loeb will be able to reach that figure from his humble 2 million dollars, for each space object he wants to photograph?.
I do not believe it, you need to be a corporate space for that.
The same goes for the ground observations that Professor Loeb announced.
The scientific networks, the military networks, the corporate networks, all of which operate around the world with active and linked stations.
All of these networks are "modest" on the average order of $ 700,000 per station, including the network, personel and operational costs.
But the most notable case is the global LINE private network, in which there are at least ¡¡a dozen Harvard scientists!!, It would be a disrespectful infidelity to give details about this private global network, I will only say that among all its devices, and there are several, each station has the only cameras in the world for stereographic strioscopy provided with a full-layer multi-sensor platform (Elect.Spectre-7 / linear -124 eV|2 nm to +1.24 MeV|0.5 m) and a total definition of 630 Gigapixels and predictive target tracking up to 31 miles.
These stations are functions since three decades, and each of one demands at least $ 18 million to catch anything that move around them.
So, we all want science to triumph, collect valid data and actively participate in the search here on the ground, as there in the sky, but we all want it to do so in a realistic way, without unnecessarily illuding society.
We dont need more stars flowing from the bottles, we need RESPECT and global team work, and some of the parts are reserved and more advanced in knowledge, we need never forget this.
Any self-respecting scientist knows that before going out into the street to give lectures, he must achieve some achievement, even a small one, speak first with his colleagues, seek safe and honest funding in silence and with patience, and above all leave the artificial speech.
This is about finding the truth, it is not a competition to see who is more famous or appears more in the newspapers, and it is not a public auction where everyone sells themselves to the interests of government operators.---

That is shocking!, you are talking there of photo records in the frequencies of the electromagnetic spectrum that go from x-rays to microwaves, through ultraviolet, visible light and infrared, I heard of these stations long before NASA announced the first photo of the breakdown of the speed of sound in 2019.

      https://www.nasa.gov/centers/armstrong/features/supersonic-shockwave-interaction.html

When I wrote to the government, I affirmed that this technology already existed in the street, they replied that it was not "appropriate" to publicly disclose that information "without first speaking directly with their operators."
I spent weeks asking and getting loose data, until finally someone guided me to a private operations control center in the Fort Worth area.
I made the mistake of arriving with my journalist's credential in hand, demanding to know what kind of operation that was, my fault.
With almost 25 years of research journalism at sc & tech, and lots of awards, that day I almost lost my job.
That was in May / 2019, in December / 2019 my editor called me at the offices, upon arrival there was this couple with a laptop, and in it a video and details of these devices, and an invitation to "meet first before speaking, and to report respectfully. "
Then in January / 2020 his organization ceased its activities, with its commitment to continue on the subject when the pandemic ends.
As a fellow journalist says "to rise from the deep, do it slowly."

Here in Argentina, the organization that Mr. William talks about, has observation stations that cover the entire territory of the southern American cone, especially Argentine and Chilean Patagonia, where they own several ranches, and where their facilities are housed.
Its network of stations is global, that organization is the most criticized by some ufologists, who usually do a lot of press, but very little or no science.
But the criticism is low, never in public, and this is because the head of that organization is a person without mincing words, and he has so much weight and so much influence that he even gives himself the freedom to go against the president of the nation and the powers of the state as the justice and the legislature (military included) in an open way and without euphemisms.
There are those who have a notable fear of him, but most honestly respect him, he is perhaps the most influential person behind closed doors.
Here are some examples with a terrible theme for the families of the argentine navy:

OMG !!for much less in any country they criminally prosecute anyone who says those things about the government, I am shocked by a phrase from one of Opi Santa Cruz's notes, the "Pink House" of Argentina is like the "White House" of the USA, there he says "something fetid creeps in the darkness of the corners of the Casa Rosada", the image of that phrase speaks of rottenness, and decay, literal!
